Voting Starts Today, First Phase Voting Of Lok Sabha Elections 2024:

Today is the first day of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. This election will go on for 44 days in seven different parts. In the first part, people in 102 areas across 21 states and Union Territories are voting.

Lots of Voters:
More than 16.63 crore people are registered to vote today. That’s a big number of people ready to vote!

PM’s Letters to Candidates:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent letters to all BJP-led NDA candidates who are running in this phase. In these letters, he talks about connecting India’s past with a good future. He wants candidates to tell voters about this.

12 out of 25 seats are in this phase, covering places like Jaipur, Alwar, and Bharatpur.

Uttar Pradesh:
8 out of 80 seats are being contested, including Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, and Rampur.

Madhya Pradesh:
6 out of 29 seats are in play, including Chhindwara, Jabalpur, and Shahdol.

Maharashtra:
5 out of 48 seats, including Nagpur, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli.
