Udhav Thackeray from the Mahavikas Aghadi announced Amol Kirtikar’s name for the North-West seat. It’s said that Shiv Sena is considering him to replace the current MP Gajanan Kirtikar because of his age.
Earlier, there were talks with Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, and Nana Patekar for this role, but Akshay and Nana said no, and Madhuri Dixit didn’t show interest.
